The High Council oversees everything within the Order and is crucial to its stability and success. During the Clone Wars, the High Council was made up of five lifetime appointees, four long-term appointees, and three short-term appointees, making for a total of 12 council members. The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia further elaborates on the High Council's history. These are all governed by the High Council. This council is also regularly filled with Consulars, as well as Jedi Diplomats and Jedi Ambassadors. The third council is the Council of Reassignment, which governs the Jedi Service Corps, dictating which body each initiate will be funneled into after they fail to advance on the path to Jedi Knighthood. This council is usually comprised of Consulars who became Lorekeepers. The Council of Reconciliation, meanwhile, deals in politics and diplomacy. She probably could have done a great Bastila voice for a Jedi, as well, but they decided to make Republic American and Empire British, which seems to expose the Brits as more talented and compelling, overall (or maybe the game's story just favors evil mustache-twirling since there's little emotional characterization involved.) I'd say the best performances in the game are male Sith Warrior, female agent, male and female inquisitor, female trooper, everybody else is meh.According to The Jedi Path, the Council of First Knowledge oversees the education of younger Jedi and the dissemination of materials from the Jedi Archives. Jennifer Hale as female trooper/femshep is probably the best Republic performance. I've played around with most classes, generally I find the British voice actors do a great job with evil dialogue on the imperial side, while the good American VOs aren't as fun. People watch TV shows for characters, and TOR kinda fails on this level (companions don't feel integrated like KOTOR or Mass Effect.) But there is one character in every cut-scene: you. He's one of the best comps in the game, I would say. Some of the others are pretty bland too - but you do get a rather perky healer, who comes with his own holo companion. In terms of companions, the consular gets the worst starting companion IMO - A trandoshan with a personality void who speaks no basic, and has pretty odd reasons for following you. It has good moments, but the first arc is a bit of a chore, and at no point does the story get as 'epic' as many of the other classes. Advanced Class: Sentinel Role: Melee Damage (DPS) Armor: Medium. Through years of training the Sentinel learns the art of using two lightsabers simultaneously to create an intricate web of damage that is almost impossible to evade. The Consular story is considered one of the weakest in the game, and that's hard to argue with. Control and focus are the hallmarks of the Jedi Sentinel. If you like waving your hand and casting spells, and playing the perceived best spec, go Serenity. It got a buff recently, in the form of a sabre-throw stun.īasically, if you like hitting things with sabres, go infil. Infiltration is a much more melee-focused, bursty, single target DPS spec. Serenity - the Shadow form of balance - is a DoT heavy spec that's currently considered the best DPS Shadow spec (although it had a nerf yesterday)
